Step 2: Checkdisk for Hard Drive Related Issues

Again making sure that you are logged in as an administrator, follow the steps as below.
1. Open the Command Prompt and type the command CHKDSK C: /F /R and press enter.


2. It will ask for an approval where you could type ‘Y’ which means yes to proceed.

3. Restart the system.

Step 3: Remove and re-add the drivers from safe mode

Another possibility for the DPC Watchdog Violation aka dpc_watchdog_violation Error might be a few corrupt divers that might be interrupting.
